VOLCANICITY

VOLCANIC REMNANT,

MAELIFELLSANDUR, ICELAND

Bright green moss has colonized a hill in the middle of Maelifellsandur, a black desert of lava and volcanic ash in Iceland. The hill is all what remains of a once active cinder cone, ground down by ice of the nearby retreating Maelifell glacier.

Eating cuppa soup and baguette in my bedroom has never been so good. In fact I’ve never eaten cuppa soup in my bedroom before, this ladies and gentlemen is a first. There is a blue blue sky to replace the storm of this morning, real sun, and a man by the name of Harvey Kartel with some super special urrs that are so promising for this already very upwards and outwards looking present future year of 2012.
